ryogenic Industries Inc., together with its subsidiaries
ACD, Cosmodyne and Cryoquip, has been a leading
global enterprise in the industrial gas and energy
industries for over 50 years. Their combined expertise
lies in the design, custom engineered solutions, sales and
aftermarket service of cryogenic machinery, process systems
and heat transfer equipment.
Cryoquip is a leader in Cryogenic heat exchange and
process equipment. For over 35 years, it has provided support
to the industrial gas and LNG industry, offering local service
with a global manufacturing presence. Cryoquip understands
the vigorous quality assurance requirements of the
petrochemical industry, and has completed major projects for
Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Woodside, Ichthys and Bechtel.
ACD is a leading manufacturer of cryogenic pumps and
turboexpanders for the alternative fuels, industrial gas and oil
industries. Its diverse product lines include a variety of
cryogenic pumps for LNG, high pressure cylinder/storage
filling systems, trailer off-loading, bulk transfer, LNG
bunkering operations, and storage tank filling.
The companies offer knowledgeable advice on product
selection, technical support and troubleshooting, pump
installation, overhaul and field repair. With additional
in-house pump training programmes, customers are given
operational instruction and provided with current
technologies to ensure pumps are operating at the highest
possible efficiencies.
Since 1958, Cosmodyne has installed over 450 cryogenic
process plants around the globe. Its small and mid scale
natural gas liquefiers produce LNG as an alternative fuel for
various markets, including marine, high horsepower, rail,
mining, trucking, oilfield applications, virtual pipeline
markets, and utility peak shaving. Its liquefiers range in size
from 5000 gal./d to 500 000 gal./d. It also has a range of
shipboard ready and land-based boil-off gas (BOG)
re-condensers for LNG and other cryogenic fluids.
Cosmodyne air separation plants produce liquid and gaseous
oxygen, nitrogen and argon.

S
et to play an increasingly important role in the world’s
energy future and more efficient to transport than other
fuels, LNG is generally recognised as an energy source
with considerably less environmental impact than traditional
fossil fuels, such as coal and oil.
To meet growing supply and demand across the LNG
industry, Emco Wheaton has continuously developed safe and
reliable LNG transfer solutions, which have reduced costs in all
components of the LNG value chain. The range includes the
LNG loading arm, which has been specifically designed for the
bottom loading and unloading of road or rail tankers, and the
marine loading arm, for the loading and unloading of LNG
product from river barges, ships and ocean going super tankers.
This ever increasing range is further strengthened by
Emco Wheaton’s TODO-CRYO, which has been designed to
handle the extremely low temperatures required to transport
cryogenically liquefied gases, such as LNG.
With engineering and design constantly improved to
ensure the safety and security of LNG terminals and ships,
Emco Wheaton’s innovative transfer solutions offer safe and
reliable LNG performance and are testament to the company’s
decades of working in the transportation, oil, gas and bulk
chemical markets.
